Proline Pro-Finish TDC Finishing Aid
High performance finishing aid for freshly poured concrete. Lubricates the surface during the floating and troweling stages for a better, faster finish. Pro-Finish TDC slows down the surface drying and eliminates the need for water during finishing. Increases surface compressive strength, reduces efflorescence, and minimizes checking, scaling, and surface cracking.
Ready-To-Use: 1 gallon = 1 gallon
Concentrate: 1 gallon = 5 gallons
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
PRO-FINISH TDC is a professional colloidal silica trowel/finishing aid, densifier, and curing agent that improves surface performance, extends and enhances workability, and provides a faster and easier finishing experience. Applying PRO-FINISH TDC during the finishing process reduces surface evaporation, slab curling, and differential shrinkage. It will also reduce efflorescence in colored and standard concrete. PRO-FINISH TDC chemically enhances the concrete, and provides higher density and increased surface performance.
RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT
Apply PRO-FINISH TDC with a low-pressure pump-up sprayer. Use a fan tip or a cone tip for an even application. Other recommended equipment includes automatic low pressure sprayers and water tanks of ride-along trowels.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
PRO-FINISH TDC RTU version is ready to use.
- Shake or agitate container well.
- Add to sprayer and apply evenly.
PRO-FINISH TDC CONCENTRATE formula should be diluted with 4 parts clean potable water prior to use.
- Mix or agitate well the PRO-FINISH TDC CONCENTRATE.
- Mix 1 part PRO-FINISH TDC CONCENTRATE with 4 parts water in a clean bucket or sprayer.
- Add to sprayer and apply evenly.
COVERAGE RATE
PRO-FINISH TDC coverage will vary based on jobsite conditions and performance requirements. These coverage rates provide a good starting point. Coverage rates are based on 1 mixed gallon of Pro-Finish TDC ready-to-use (RTU).

APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Apply PRO-FINISH TDC during the floating and troweling stages of fresh concrete pours. Multiple applications can be applied as needed throughout the finishing process.
TROWEL/FINISHING AID
When applied between 500 - 1000 sq.ft. per gallon per application, PRO-FINISH TDC will lubricate the surface, making
concrete easier and faster to finish. The material should be worked into the concrete during the floating or finishing stages (by hand or mechanical trowels). If desired, multiple applications can be applied and worked into the concrete to achieve higher levels of finishing and densifying.
Note: Do not apply heavier than 250 sq.ft. per application.
PERFORMANCE CONCRETE
When applied at 250 sq.ft. per gallon during the first bull float or mechanical trowel stage, the colloidal silica solution within the PRO-FINISH TDC will get worked into the cement matrix and maximize the chemical reaction and increase overall performance. Then apply PRO-FINISH TDC as needed to help finish the concrete.
