Proline Dura-Etch Concrete Etcher & Cleaner - 1 Gal. Jug
Dura-Etch™ is a concentrated, phosphoric acid based etcher to be used to prep for any Proline™ stain application. The material uses phosphoric acid to lightly etch the surface and remove mild efflorescence. Using phosphoric instead of muriatic acid gently increases the porosity of the surface without damaging the substrate chemicals necessary for subsequent acid staining, thereby allowing better penetration of the stain solution.
For acid staining, dilute at a ratio of 1 part Dura-Etch™ to 9 parts water. Dura-Etch™ will increase the porosity of the surface without damaging the substrate chemicals necessary for acid staining. May be used as a prep for Pro-Stain™, diluted 4:1.
